It’s an Eliminator match lose and you’re out. Lahore Qalandars are set to take on Karachi Kings in a high-stakes clash tonight (Thursday) at 9 PM Bangladesh time.
Lahore Qalandars will feature three Bangladeshi cricketers: Shakib Al Hasan, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, and Rishad Hossain. Shakib has already appeared once for the Qalandars, in a match against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi. He bowled two overs without taking a wicket, conceding 18 runs. Despite that, Lahore secured a 26-run victory.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz recently joined the squad, brought in specifically with the play-offs in mind. He is expected to be in the playing XI for this crucial game.
Meanwhile, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain has also rejoined the team. He played five matches in the group stage for Lahore before leaving for national duty in the UAE, after the PSL was briefly suspended due to the Indo-Pakistan conflict.
Now, Rishad is back in Pakistan to continue in the PSL. The Lahore franchise confirmed his return around 1 PM (Bangladesh time).
